Compare the requirements and training in four countries.

Norway:
3 years of training
4 fatalities caused by police bet. 2002-2016

Finland:
3 years degree is required.
7 people killed by police bet. 2000-2018

Germany:
2 years of training
267 people killed by police since 1990

USA:
high school diploma and 10-36 weeks of training depending on state
1,004 people killed in 2019 alone

The question becomes what are American police not being taught? In a country like the United States, more training is needed, not less.

To be fair I think American culture is a lot more violent as well. In Australia they push for University grads for recruits and in my state which is very Liberal they love a PC Police Force and the cops will still kill at times because again, our culture is more violent than the European ones you have listed.

Also in America, the cops are far more likely to be up against armed suspects than they are in the other countries you have mentioned.

U.S. is very violent and the problems are complicated which is why training needs to be more intense and the screening process much higher.

George Floyd, Elijah McClain and Eric Gardner were not armed. Those situations needlessly escalated. A kid walking home with tea in a paper bag is a threat?

You seem to have only mentioned black men who have been killed in your list there. More white people are killed by Police in America than black people are and of the blacks who are killed many are killed by black police.

The question is, why didn't the first black president do anything about this? Trump is the one who has changed things in regards to Police training.

I guess they are taught how to use a gun (a one button device) and a taser. Then they are dispatched by 911 operators to respond to reports by Karens and the rest is history.

and we all know Karens word is absolute and never requires any sort of scrutiny or fact-checking. The Karen is the epitome of white privilege and a perfect example for anyone that wants to deny that such privilege exists.
