um what is this then? What happened to a actual principled conservatives and fiscal conservatives?

It seems they are all cucks to power now. Just look at ted cruz groveling after Trump said bad things about his father and wife.

I noticed the GDP is going up now, it crashed hard under Obuma.

and GDP also went up under Clinton but republicans still called for cuts

I think the idea is that cutting taxes would grow the economy which in turn would increase the tax revenue in the future, and that would reduce fiscal deficit in the end.

Of course only time will tell whether that works out or not.
