Improving Infrastructure + Lowering USA debt

Those should be two big talking points, but are neglected by both sides.

Concern for the debt and balanced budgets went poof after 911.

Anytime anyone proposes even the most minimal cuts to the automatic annual increases in spending we get sob stories from the democrat media/party about grandma being forced to eat dog food.

The democrats think they can bankrupt the country into failure. Won’t work, because if we fail the entire world fails.

They have no concept of how the private sector economy works or what generates productivity. It’s why they’re always wrong. And it’s not a surprise really as they’re made up of career politicians who have no useful experience.

If you want the budget balanced elect middle class working people who know how to live on a budget.

There's nothing wrong with increases in spending...as long as it's matched by increases in worker's wages, too. However, you Republithugs never seem to get behind any proposals that would make businesses treat their workers with this kind of respect because--OH MY GOD!--it might actually cause profits to dip a little! Can't have that, can we...don't want hurt the markets, do we?

Yes indeed Lord BAElish! The infrastructure in the USA is pathetic. But no. . ..a huge budget is all for wars, continuous wars like the one in Afghanistan which has gone on for far too many years. The war money should be spent on not only infrastructure, but providing money for public schools, etc. This country has over 800 military bases around the world! Despicable!
