not even close to being the dumbest moment.check out any number of scenes in Moonraker or Octopussy. it was pretty dumb though considering it appeared in one of the best Bonds, TSWLM.

This'll hurt him more than me!

Verily I say unto thee...agreed, that line is the dumbest in the entire franchise, meaningless and not even remotely funny. I imagine it must have been an "in joke" purely for the amusement of a handful who might have known what it meant.

Bond being able to put on a clown suit with perfect make up in less than a minute is probably the dumbest moment.
