Anyone want Bond to come back to the U.S.?

It hasn't been done in a long while, with the exception of the brief Miami airport sequence in CR.

But I would like to see, with maybe an American villain, which hasn't been done before. Not that I got anything against the countries he has been too, I am just getting a little tired of all the European, Asian and Latin scenery lately. What do you think?

Brad Whitaker, the arms dealing villain played by Joe Don Baker in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS (1987), was an American.

There have been American villains before.

I wouldn't mind Bond back in the US, but where's he gonna go? He's been to New York, Vegas and San Fran.

Los Angeles, maybe? Miami? DC? Seattle? Philly? Pittsburgh? Detroit? Atlanta? Dallas? Nothing really stands out, at least for a significant location.

Maybe Dallas or any other Texas location would be interesting as a PTS or something.

Peoria, Illinois?

Hawaii would be nice. I was thinking maybe D.C., and get involved in a CIA or Pentagon plot.

New England is pretty nice. Think it was used in one of the Gardner novels, anyhow.
Aside from that, the Southwestern desert is pretty remote and more than capable of hosting a good hideout, or maybe in the Plains where there's a lot of decommissioned missile silos from the Cold War.

If you're looking for a luxury spot, I'd say the Florida Keys, Myrtle Beach, or somewhere along the Rockies in the winter (that way we can get our skiing scene in).
