Any fans of the N64 game Goldeneye, here?
I'm not a gamer, but I still play that one on my laptop sometimes.
A true classic in the same league as Pacman. Endlessly playable.

Absolutely. I think I was 15 or so when it came out. Absolute classic.
The films was also my first Bond film I saw at the cinema on release(although by that time I had seen all the preceding ones on video at least 5 times each)
The film and the game hold a special place in my heart.
Splendid game.

I've played many video games in my time and still do, but GoldenEye is still in the upper echelon among the all time best.
Am I biased? Probably. But the game was truly innovative and groundbreaking in the gaming world and still holds up well to this day. Apart from graphics, of course, but who cares about graphics?
OT Side question for anyone else interested: what do you think is the best game ever made and where does GoldenEye rank relative to it?
My personal favourite of all time is The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Goldeneye is certainly in the top 5 though, and probably the best multi-player game of all time. One can only imagine how huge it would have been, had there existed PS plus, Xbox live or an equivalent at the time.
