The same actor dubed Largo, Tanaka, And Blofeld (FYEO)!!!

I have watched all of the bond movies more times than i can count. I can mouth the lines to all of the movies. I am the same as you, a 007 nerd.

But i just realized now the same actor dubbed all 3 characters! Two villians and one ally. Can't believe i never picked up on that.

Also, i think sylvia trench and domino were the same voice actress, not sure, but they always sounded the same.

Yes, Robert Rietty did a good job...but check for Nikki van der Zyl, and you will find that Sylvia Trench and Domino were just the tip of the iceberg. Nikki voiced just about two out of three female characters in the early Bond films (until and including LALD), and (in spite of being the Berlin-born daughter of a rabbi who fled the Nazis) even the British actresses.

who did she voice in LALD? the girl in the beginning right? i'm not cheating, i just know that sexy voice

reply

IIRC, she actually voiced Solitaire (Jane Seymour), at least part of the time. Or so she claims on her website, and I'm pretty sure at least most of that is true.

Looking at the page linked in my last posting, I have to correct my original response to saying she was active until MR, not just LALD.

I checked her wikipedia. She did a lot of the early bonds. a few re voices. next time i watch LALD i will have to pay attention to solitaires voice, jane seymour and nikki shared the voice part.

Didn't realize cannibas was so popular in that era.

That one actor supplied product to Bond films across 1965, 1967 and 1981 is remarkable.
