QOS is the only 007 I haven't seen more than once

I feel like I should make a point of watching it a second time to see why it is so hated. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either. Plus, Stana Katic was not famous when I saw it and would like to see her in it. I've seen all of the other three Craig 007's at the theater, this one not until the DVD came out. My roommate fell asleep and has never seen the rest.

Anyone else have a 007 they have never revisited yet?

I have seen QOS about 7-8 times. It got better with each viewing.

Spectre is the only Bond film I have seen once.

I've seen all of them multiple times.

Verily I say unto thee..QoS is the only Bond film that most people have only seen once. The reason is clear as it is as abysmal a thing as the eyes of Man have ever alighted upon since time began.

Just when I was about to propose the OP must be the ONLY person to have seen QUANTUM OF SOLACE a single time, in comes HugeBapster to blow that possibility right out of the water. Ka-boom.

So that makes two.

Although something of a train wreck, it has a re-watchablity. I find it oddly fascinating. I always thought it had committed performances (despite the bad characterisation) and great production design and cinematography. As well as a high quota of action and glamour locations, so the money's all up there on screen. It's just a shame that the editing and direction choices makes it impossible to see a lot of it.

Which is why, a few rewatches is actually entertaining. You start to (slowly...) get a sense of the geography in the manically edited action scenes and pick up some nice little details (or spot some questionable parts you may have missed...!!)

Although i can't deny SF and SP are better made films (although they also have editing issues with pace and structure...) i've only seen each of them fully one. They just watched parts of either and don't really have much interest in a rewatch.

Whereas i've watched 'Squandered of Promise' multiple times as i find it more entertaining despite being a worse film in a lot of ways. But as annoying and disappointing as i find it, it's never dull. And i find the last 2 Craig films kinda dull...

While i don't expect/demand certain posters on this board change their minds about it, but i would be curious if a lot of haters to rewatch and see if they get something from it on another viewing.

Thanks for a good post. I must say, if I never had rewatched QOS, I wouldnยดt have a clear idea about the film at all. The second time I found it actually thrilling. Like you, laslopaniflex, I find some films better, not because they are better made (but worse), but the entertainment factor can be much higher in lower class films, also the feeling of raw honesty. When it comes to latter Bonds I have problems with the coldfactor. I find Quantum very cold and charmless, but still very active, physical and not-too-long!

It has no rewatch value for me at all a very dull forgettable garbage film

Its really the only only Bond film I hate. I dont care for DAF that much but its not awful.

Those two aside, I love the other 22 films.

Nope. I seen them all at least 3 times.
