Someone I know described SPECTRE's car chase as sedate.

Verily I say unto thee..and I have to agree with him as he clarified his comment. The chase (such as it was) between Bond and Hinx moves at such a leisurely pace that it generates no tension or excitement at all. It takes place at night in a strangely deserted Rome where in reality you would be lucky to drive a yard anywhere without encountering a rude and crazed cyclist or even a bunch of 'em. I can't think of a better word than "sedate" to describe this strange chase scene and I think the guy I was speaking should be applauded for his use of such an apt term.

It was more pedestrian.

Verily I say unto thee...very true.

Verily I say unto thee...good to see that your recent viewing of ONE MILLION YEARS B.C. was not in vain and that you have discovered at least one word that enables you to communicate something approaching a form of expression.

I say that the ski chase was fantastic.

reply

You would.

No, you would.... you would do Daniel Craig.

I have to agree. There was something off about it. The chase just didn't seem to have any urgency about it.
