Why do we have to wait so long for each film?
They used to be released on a yearly basis and the quality was better.

shareI searched for a similar thread but none could be found.
BTW you added an unnecessary o to your username, John.
The last Bond movie released in one year was The Man with The Golden Gun.
I'm not sure the world could handle such quality, any more. It's best they tone it down by delaying.
Now, this is a signature gun, and that is an optical palm reader.
Personally I think Craig's 4 films with the longer gaps has been the best 4 film run of the franchise, and aside from Connery's early films cranking them out on a schedule has not produced consistently good quality. So the way they're doing it now is fine by me. Let's not turn Bond into Marvel.

All the way.

Ceterum censeo OCTOPUSSY esse delendam.
I like having a 2, maybe 3 year gap between movies, but what kills me is the uncertainty. Skyfall took 4 years to be made, and we have no clue when will the follow-up to Spectre be shot/released.
sharePersonally, I'd like to see a new Bond film every two years.
That seems like a reasonable rate to maintain.
ant-mac
Spectre and skyfall were the Bond films you could say were heavily planned out... The first two casino Royale and QOS were rushed garbage.
