Why has Bond never been to Australia?

I think he only has that continent and Antarctica as the only two he hasn't been to in the movies.

Looking forward to it eventually.

So far, too removed from the UK geographically to be easily connected to a threat. Not topical as production is in development. On location shooting is expensive, the distance from England likely factors into that. Timing is everything.

Other than Australia, there are more holdouts like Canada, Singapore. Looked at that way, Bond has done a remarkable amount of business in locales like Italy, Turkey.

Or unless George frequented delicatessens made of stainless steel.

Australia is kind of like the UK and the US put together. I will probably get a lot of flak for saying that, but that's just how it seems to me.

So maybe the Bond producers think that Australia is not different or exotic enough for them, which is why they never had him go there?
