All things must pass. I had some great times on here and look back on most of it as both a pleasure and a privilege.

I've been a member, but I only discovered the JAMES BOND message board recently.

You can imagine how annoyed I feel, what with the current circumstances and all.

Actually, I keep wondering how many of those who were on the board under an (initially) unknown name are really incarnations of long-time members and Bond board posters and how many are actual "sockpuppets" (not necessarily meaning anything negative). Most of those you listed and those who replied here never seemed to change their name so much as to let people think they are a different person, but kept showing continuity.

The only obvious example being Bap, but not during the period he always kept "Bapster" as part of his various names and invariably started with "Verily...", but when he invented that schoolgirl character (don't remember the name) as a sockpuppet so he finally had created a companion also destroying QOS. Until he accidentally started one of "her" postings with "Verily..." as well, everybody knew what the case was, and he ultimately changed the name to HugeDaiCottermee, later on dropping his "TexasJohnBapster" personality and even reverting to that "Verily" BS for HDC.

namideo returned after a long hiatus for a couple posts. Then seemed to move on with his life.

uk6strings-1, deleted his account then returned under a new moniker. Not sure why he chose not to frequent this board as often under the new moniker.

Whatever happened to Commander Jim? Did he change his name? Our taste in film aligned beautifully and on that point we got on swell. Ideologically, I was a bit disappointed to find out how different we were. C'est la vie...
