Not sure whether this should be under Asian Cinema or Internet Movies, it's kinda both in one, because this was intended to be a Thai movie but has become available in full length on Youtube as well.

A movie that was extremely popular on the web before anyone had even seen a trailer about it, because the 2 actresses playing the main roles of the movie have become something like Youtube superstars after they played a lesbian couple in a webseries made in Thailand (GAP The Series).
This was so successful that producers made another webseries (The Loyal Pin) of the same kind with the same actresses recently and in between these two webseries the two actresses played the main roles in this scifi movie, which due to distribution times took longer to become available, meaning it came out after the 2nd webseries.

I find it fascinating that a movie can become so popular only because of the names of the ones playing the main roles and before anyone knows anything about the content of the movie and after I've seen it yesterday I must say, it's quite a movie.
Subtracting the fact it had a limited budget and not enough money for sophisticated special effects, the storyline is really good for scifi/fantasy, subtracting also the fact that the movie is so multifaceted that even a runtime of 130 minutes wasn't enough and a lot of details it could have had have been cut short, leaving a lot of details to viewers imagination, I enjoyed it very much.
