Sing Street (2016)
It's such a good movie! I loved it! It's a fairly typical funny and poignant young love/go after your dreams kind of story but with so much fun 1980s nostalgia and some REALLY really good original songs.
I'd love to see it adapted into a stage version like the same writer & director John Carney did with Once (2007). I think it would be a big hit.

Just in cinemas now...and I think maybe only limited release as it's only playing in one, VERY small arthouse cinema here in SF.
