Busy month...

Seeing Tim Rice's From Here to Eternity on Saturday.
Not sure what I will see on the way back on Sunday. Either a musical (or 2) at the Toronto Fringe Festival or A Little Night Music at Stratford.

Weekend of the 23rd. Leap of Faith and possibly Baby

Then...
29th First Date
30th War Paint
31st Murder for Two

I would love to see A Little Night Music on stage. I've seen the movie a dozen times... even though everyone but me thinks it sucks. 
Have fun and let us know how they were.

My wife decided that ALNM is off the table. We have seen it 3 times (1 professional and 2 very good university) in the last 5 years and that was enough for her. I love it. "The Miller's Son" is not enough to draw her back. She is not a Sondheim fan. ALNM is by far my favorite Sondheim.

So, we will see 2 short musicals at the Toronto Fringe Festival.

The performers were great. The show was told in the manner of a fable, so it tended to be simplistic and choppy. Think of putting one of aesop's fable to music. Unless you just used it as a starting point for the plot, it is too simplistic. The music and dancing were fun. Raggae, salsa and samba and some ballads. Worth our time and $10. I would like to spend a full weekend at a fringe festival.
