Harold and Maude

Love it!
Brilliant black comedy.

Yes, wonderful one-of-a-kind film. I haven't seen it in years though. I used to love to quote it when one someone expressed disapproval of some life choice of mine and say, "Do you think it's wrong?"

It's the kind of movie that makes you wonder what the world would be like if it hadn't been made.

Love it. Ruth Gordon is a gem in it. A lot was filmed where I used to live.

It's an entirely unique movie. Hal Ashby was that way, had that ability.

I loved that car in the movie, and I hope they really didn't drive it over a cliff at the end. Classic movie, that alot of people haven't seen yet.

It's likely to me that there was more than one Jaguar involved in the production of the movie, suggesting the possibility that the one which crashed over the cliff was a kind of dummy. But I suspect that the facts are available online.

After I wrote it, I did some snooping. They only made one car for the movie and yes they did trash it. Someone did make a replica car of it and is the only one out there.
