Rate the movie "Stripes" (1981)?
I give the movie an 8/10, I've thought the first hour of the movie was great but it does falter some during the post graduation scenes.
shareI give it a seven. The caste was a great blend that had good chemistry together. I agree when they first join the army and rubbing the strict generals the wrong way was best.

I'd give it a 7.6. It's a good, but not great comedy. Btw my childhood friend's uncle, Warren Oates, played Sgt Hulka.

My friends names were Gordon and Bobby Oates. I don't know whatever happened to Bobby, but I do know Gordon lives in Vermont.
Their uncle was the late, great Warren Oates. He played Dillinger in the 1973 film Dillinger. Unfortunately I never met the man. As a movie fan that would have been very special to me.
