The top picks for me are Natalie Portman in The Professional, Haley Joel Osment in AI, and Peggy Ann Garner in A Tree Grows in Brooklyn

haley joel osment. Yes, he was amazing in that film. He was also very good in "Pay it Forward", but I didnt like the movie that much.

It's a very small part but I liked James DiGiacomo's performance as Tony's little brother, Frankie, in "Brooklyn."
