I plan to start a new message board for film and TV. I'll have more updates soon.

With respect, we don't need another message board -- there are already some good message boards out there.

We need a *database" that enables us to click from, say, "TV Series Jane Doe" to various actors within that series and then click to a favorite actor to see what else he was in and then click on those titles to see the rating of each and to check the board of each to get an idea of whether we want to see any given movie or show ... and to click on an insightful member's avatar and see his/her board postings to see what other offerings are out there. And to click on INTK to post a nagging question. Or to hang out a little with like-minded fans in any of the genre boards. We need this big database full of interconnected information and communication.

imdb is unique in this regard, which is why the boards closure is so rotten.

Trump is behind this and all threats to free speech.

Online petitions are as useful as using a spoon to dig a large hole. I'm glad they're going personally, in comparison to the old days when they had good discussions, today the forum appears to be full of trolls and people who needed a film explained to them because they were either thick or not paying attention.

So why do you use this board so much?I don't understand you.
