90-ish comedy about chaotic wedding?

There's not too much I remember, but here goes: This was a romantic comedy, probably from the mid-90ies (maybe a little earlier?), possibly a TV production, about two people getting married, the bride's name was Margo (pretty sure about that) - it was an ensemble comedy, and the focus was also on the future in-laws, the two families with parents and siblings and possibly more, getting to know each other and clashing. Possibly they were of different social standing, but I'm not sure. I seem to remember, though, that one pair of parents bought a microwave oven as a wedding present and gasped when they found out that the other parents had something much fancier for the couple, a cruise or a journey. I know that's not much, but maybe it does ring a bell to somebody?
