SOLVED: foreign movie from the late 1990s, with "circular" storyline

I once saw a unique foreign movie from the late 1990s. It had an odd 3-part plot where part 3 ended up where part 1 began. It wasn't a flashback, the plot actually went in a circle, as if to say history repeats itself, or something. The main character was a pretty dark-haired girl. I wish I could remember more.

I've seen that, but I mean a different one. The plot literally goes in a circle, and nothing repeats if you watch it only once, but you find out there's really no beginning or end to it.

It wasn't German, more southern European/Slavic.

It's probably worth owning. Amazon and ebay both have it. Ebay has a cheap South Korean release (region free, but they can all be seen on VLC anyway), but it may not have the extras on it.
